For Student Scholars

NovaChai will award up to 6 $1,000 college grants per year to high school students that produce course specific work that explores and illustrates aspects of current or historical Jewish experience. ​

NoVaChai can assist students with access to experts, academicians, and research.​

Grants are considered for DC metro high school students who produce academic work that:

• Speaks to the Jewish experience and Israeli history, such as biographies, scientific and social contributions, examination of Israeli governance & politics, etc.

• Is submitted for and evaluated for credit in a current high school class or within an accredited school based academic competition or presentation

Cut off dates for 2025 submissions are February 7th (end of Q2) and June 20th (end of Q4).   Please submit requests for consideration in the form below.
